Rose Bowl was purchased in July 2007 by the Olson Family. Darlene Olson (mother/owner) and Michele Olson (daughter) manage Rose Bowl Lanes. Merle Hay Lanes in Des Moines, is also owned by Darlene.

Since July of 2007, Rose Bowl Lanes has undergone many improvements, including new AMF Ball Returns and new Brunswick VECTOR PLUS Automatic Scorers with LCD Flat Screen Monitors. A new snack bar, new light and sound system, new seating, new lighting and new insulation throughout added in 2010 for added comfort.
